Estimates & Pricing

  • We offer free initial estimates and quotes via phone or email.
  • A measurement fee (e.g., $100) may apply for on-site measurements and will be credited toward the final project cost if the project proceeds.
  • All pricing is provided upfront with no hidden costs, and quoted prices reflect the agreed scope of work.

Prices may change if:

  • Project scope changes
  • Materials are upgraded or modified
  • Unexpected structural or site issues arise

Payment Terms

  • A deposit may be required before project commencement.
  • Full or partial payment schedules will be outlined in the project agreement.
  • Final payment is due upon project completion unless otherwise agreed.

Failure to complete payment may result in:

  • Project delays
  • Suspension of services
  • Legal action where applicable

Project Timeline

We strive to complete all projects on time and on budget, however timelines may be affected by:

  • Material availability
  • Weather conditions
  • Site readiness
  • Unforeseen complications

Estimated timelines are not guaranteed but will be communicated clearly.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate measurements (for supply-only orders)
  • Ensure safe and accessible work areas
  • Remove plumbing fixtures (e.g., sinks) prior to installation, unless otherwise arranged
  • Hire licensed professionals (e.g., plumbers) when required

Biggar Countertops is not responsible for plumbing or electrical work unless explicitly agreed.

Installation & Access

  • It is recommended that the homeowner be present during installation, though not mandatory.
  • Access to the property must be provided at scheduled times.
  • Delays due to restricted access may incur additional charges.

Materials & Products

We work with leading laminate manufacturers and suppliers to provide high-quality materials.

Due to the nature of materials:

  • Colors and patterns may vary slightly
  • Natural wear and tear is expected over time

Warranty & Workmanship

We take pride in delivering quality workmanship.

Warranty coverage:

  • Applies to workmanship defects for a limited period (to be specified per project)
  • Does not cover misuse, improper maintenance, or third-party modifications

Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied materials where applicable.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made in writing
  • Deposits may be non-refundable once materials are ordered or work has begun
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be assessed based on project stage

Limitation of Liability

Biggar Countertops shall not be held liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Delays caused by external factors
  • Damages resulting from improper use or maintenance

Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided.

Health & Safety

We prioritize safety on all job sites.

We reserve the right to:

  • Stop work if unsafe conditions are present
  • Require corrective action before continuing

Intellectual Property
